We require this information to offer you a vehicle to book festival accommodation and list festival accommodation for people who wish to rent out their accommodation. We may use this information for the following:

  • List your accommodation
  • Collect payments / provide payments
  • Resolve any disputes that may arise
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

Account Deactivation

I want to deactivate my account, what do I need to do?

You can deactivate your account yourself at any time.

To deactivate your account:

  1. Send us an email if you want to remove your property
  2. Send us an email if you do not want to be contacted by us
  3. We do not send our regular emails so will only contact you if you register a property or rent a property.

When you remove a property any current reservations you have as a host or a guest will be deemed automatically cancelled by you and the relevant cancellation policy applicable to the reservation will apply.

If, in the future, you want to reopen a deactivated account, you will need to email us as hello@festivalsorted.co.uk

We do not hold onto your personal data after you have removed your property.

Data Access

I would like to get a copy of some or all of the personal data Festival Sorted  holds about me, what do I need to do?

Opt Out from Marketing Communications

How do I exercise my right to opt out from receiving marketing emails, notifications, messages, or calls?

We do not send regular emails so this does not apply at this time. We only contact you in regard to hosting or renting a property and will only respond to your requests. We may follow up to ask how a host was or how your guests were but if you would prefer us not to contact you please let us know.

We will continue to use the contact details you provided in order to send you messages related to a service you have requested (for example, booking / hosting  emails).

We do not share any of your personal details for direct marketing purposes at this time.

Object to Processing

I want to object to Festival Sorted processing of some of my personal data for certain specific purposes, what do I do?

If allowed under the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside, you may request that Festival Sorted do not to process your personal information for certain specific purposes (including profiling) where such processing is based on legitimate interest. If you object to such processing, Festival Sorted will no longer process your personal information for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for such processing or such processing is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
